Antwerp, Belgium, Aug 11th, 2023 – The Metastore Group, a leading provider of security and risk management solutions & services, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of OPNS, a specialized Identity,Access and Governance services firm. Under the terms of the agreement, OPNS will become part of the Metastore Group, and will continue to operate under the well known – and successful – OPNS brand. Founded in 1989, OPNS is a Benelux entity that employs around 20 people and has activities in Belgium, Luxembourg, the north of France and also in the Middle East.
The acquisition combines the Metastore Group’s expertise in data, security and risk management with OPNS’ specialized security services, creating a comprehensive offering for clients seeking integrated security solutions. The acquisition positions the Metastore Group as a leader in new areas, including professional services and customizable applications for information security.

By combining with OPNS, the Metastore Group is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory and provide even more value to clients. Metastore France and OPNS France will merge. The expansion of OPNS to the Middle East creates a big opportunity for the Metastore Group to develop this new market.
The portfolio of software products developed within OPNS will be the building blocks for a software development competence center.
Last but not least, this acquisition will strengthen the common and long standing strategic partnership with Open Text, which includes MicroFocus, NetIQ and Novell.
